Schedule

the schedule everyone can actually find

Build the week in minutes with templates and copy-last-week, see coverage as you go, and publish when it’s ready. Everyone gets their shifts on their phone, asks for time off in one place, and trades shifts without a group text.

sound familiar?

the schedule on the break room wall

A printout with three rounds of pen edits, a sticky note begging for Saturday coverage, and a time-off request on a scrap of paper that may or may not have reached anyone.

how it works

one week, start to finish

  1. Sun

    Step 1

    Built in minutes

Copy last week, paint shifts with templates, and see each day’s coverage as you go.

  2. Sun

    Step 2

    Published

Publish when it’s ready. Everyone with a shift that week is notified, and it lands in their phone calendar.

  3. Mon

    Step 3

    Time off in one place

Requests come in with your clinic’s questions and coverage warnings, and approved time off shows on the week.

  4. Wed

    Step 4

    Swaps without the group text

Offer a shift to a teammate, they accept, and an admin confirms. Open shifts can be picked up from a phone.

who it helps

one week everyone trusts

Practice managers

Build the week from templates or last week, see coverage before you publish, and approve time off with the warnings in front of you.

Doctors

Know who’s on with you. With shift types turned on, your block asks for the support staff it needs.

Techs & assistants

Your shifts and hours in one place, on your phone’s calendar, with swaps and open shifts a tap away.

Front desk

See who’s working today at a glance, without hunting for this week’s printout.

your clinic, your way

as simple or as detailed as you run it

Admins set up Schedule in Clinic Settings. Changes save as you go, with an undo if you change your mind.

Only what you use

Every feature is a switch. Leave them all off for a classic weekly scheduler.

Templates & job roles

Reusable shifts you paint onto the week, and the roles each person can work.

Shift types & coverage

Optional DVM blocks that ask for the support staff they need.

Time-off rules

Your own questions, coverage limits that warn, and blackout dates.

Turn on when you want them

Auto-fill

Drafts staff into empty slots from preferences and availability. Nothing saves until you apply it.

Phone calendar

A private calendar link for each person, published weeks only.

Shift reminders

A heads-up the evening before each shift.

Hours guardrails

Warnings for overtime, short rest and too many days in a row.

good questions

Why can't I see next week's schedule?

Staff only see weeks a clinic admin has published. Until then the week is a draft. The same goes for calendar subscriptions and shift reminders: nothing from an unpublished week reaches anyone.

Do staff get notified when I change a published week?

Publishing notifies everyone with a shift that week. Later edits show up for staff right away, but they don't send a new notification. Moving someone's shift through a swap, open shift or release does notify the people involved.

Where are the Swaps or Preferences tabs?

They only appear when a clinic admin has turned on those features in Clinic Settings → Schedule → Features. The same is true for open shifts, the calendar link, and hours warnings.

I clicked Copy last week twice. Now there are doubles.

Copy last week adds last week's shifts on top of whatever is already there. Delete the extras by tapping each one and choosing Delete.
