every new hire learns it your way
Give each role a training plan, module by module. New hires always know what’s up next, practice it, and get signed off by someone who’s allowed to. Managers see where everyone stands, and the protocol is the same no matter who’s on shift.

how it works
one skill, start to finish
- Mon
Step 1
On the plan
The VA/Techs plan puts IV catheters in the Treatment room module, with the SOP and a video linked.
- Tue
Step 2
Read and practice
Tessa reads the SOP on her phone, marks it read, and practices with her mentor.
- Thu
Step 3
Signed off
Someone allowed to sign off marks her competent, with a comment. Nobody can sign off their own skills.
- Fri
Step 4
Everyone can see it
Managers see her progress, and the next item moves to the top of her plan.

who it helps
less guessing, for everyone
New hires
Always know what’s next, what “competent” looks like, and who can sign you off. No guessing what you’re allowed to do yet.
Mentors & leads
See your trainees’ plans, sign off what you’ve watched them do, and file private check-in notes for managers.
Practice managers
Every trainee’s progress at a glance, plus an onboarding checklist and a prep list for before day one.
Doctors
Know who’s been signed off on what before you hand someone a catheter or the anesthesia monitor.

good questions
Why can't I sign off this skill?
Nobody can sign off their own skills. For someone else's, you need to be in training management, on the Can sign off skills list, or their mentor with mentor sign-offs turned on. If the button is greyed out, the skill may need a file uploaded first.
Can the trainee see my check-in feedback?
No. Check-in feedback is private to management, even if the trainee is also a manager.
My test result isn't showing.
Every attempt is graded and then confirmed by a second person. You'll get a notification when it's released.
Why am I shown as behind?
Only because an admin gave that module a target week and it has passed. Modules without a target week never mark anyone behind. Ask your manager if the pace doesn't fit.
