Log a service
When someone cleans, checks or services a piece of equipment, log it so the next due date moves on. You can log one service or several at once.
Log services
- Open Equipment and find the item.
- Tap Log services. Anything due or overdue is already ticked.
- Under Services done, tick or untick services. Use Select all or Clear to change them all.
- Under Who did it, search the team by name or initials and tap each person who did the work.
- Check Serviced on. It starts as today.
- If an outside company or tech did it, type their name in Vendor / outside tech.
- Add Notes about what was done.
- Tap Save (or Log 2 services, and so on).
To log a single service, tap the item to open it and tap Log next to that service.
If you untick every service, the entry is saved as an unscheduled service in the item's history. It doesn't move any due dates.
What happens when you save
- Each ticked service's last-done date updates, and its next due date moves on.
- The entry appears in the item's Service history with the date, service, who did it, any vendor and notes, and who logged it.
- A date in the past only moves a due date if it's newer than the last logged date.
Points
If your clinic gives points for maintenance, the form shows what the log is worth, such as "4 points split 2 ways". Everyone you pick under Who did it shares the points, and they count toward the same raffle as chores. Vendors typed in the vendor box don't earn points.
Log from a team space
If your team space board has an Equipment due card, tick a service there to log it as done today. Ticking from the card doesn't record who did it, so no points are given.
Tip
Picked the wrong service or date? Ask a clinic admin to delete the history entry. The due date then works itself out again from the remaining history.
