Play Jeopawdy

Jeopawdy is the vet trivia board. Players buzz in from their phones, and it has Daily Doubles, a Double round and a Final. Only clinic admins and managers can host it.

Set up a board

1. Open Games, tap Jeopawdy, then New game.
2. Give it a name and pick up to five categories. Leave them all off, or tap Surprise me, and houndkit picks five for you.
3. Under Rounds, leave Double Jeopawdy and Final Jeopawdy on, or switch them off for a shorter game.
4. Tap Start the game.

The first board has clues worth 100 to 500 with one Daily Double hidden in it. Double Jeopawdy has five fresh categories worth 200 to 1000, with two Daily Doubles.

Play a clue (host)

1. Tap a value on the board to put that clue up.
2. Buzzers open 3 seconds after the clue appears, so everyone gets time to read it. Tap Open now to open them sooner.
3. The first to buzz answers out loud. Tap Right or Wrong.
4. Tap Back to board when you're done with the clue.

A right answer adds the clue's value and gives that player control: they pick the next clue and play any Daily Double they find. A wrong answer takes the value away and locks them out of that clue, and the next person in line is up.

Buzz in (players)

Keep Jeopawdy open on your phone. When a clue is up, a big BUZZ button appears. It counts down, then opens. On a keyboard, press the space bar. Buzz too early and you'll see A hair early! Try again.

Daily Doubles

Only the player in control plays a Daily Double, with no buzzers. They type their wager on their phone and answer out loud. If nobody has control yet, the host picks who plays it.

Final Jeopawdy

Everyone with a score above 0 plays.

1. The category shows. Players make a secret wager on their phones.
2. The host taps Reveal the clue. Players have 30 seconds to type an answer.
3. The host taps Start the reveals and marks each answer right or wrong, lowest score first.

Keep the answers private

The host remote shows each answer the moment a clue is up, so you can judge without the room seeing. Tap Host from your phone on the big screen and scan the code. On the big screen itself, you can also hold to peek at an answer.
