Play The Pack Says

In The Pack Says, two teams guess the most popular answers to a question. Use one of houndkit's questions, or survey your own team first and play their answers.

Start a game

1. Open Games, tap The Pack Says, then New game.
2. Name the two teams, or keep Team Paws and Team Claws.
3. Tap Start the game.

Players open the game on their phones and pick a team.

Choose each round

• One of houndkit’s picks: a vet-clinic question with answers we've ranked. They're our best guesses, not a real survey.
• Ask the team: type a question, like "Name something…", and tap Ask. Everyone answers on their phone, anonymously, in a word or two. Tap Close answers and build the board, and houndkit groups the answers into a board. Check it on your remote (or turn the big screen away first), then tap Play this board.
• Lightning Round: available from round 2 on.

Play a round

1. Face-off: one player from each team buzzes on their phone. The first from each team answers first. Pick the team that won the face-off.
2. That team guesses answers. The host reveals each one that's on the board, and its points go into the round total.
3. A wrong guess gets a Strike. After three strikes, the other team can steal with one guess. If it's on the board, they take all the points.
4. Clear the board and the playing team banks the points.

Typing what they shouted

In What did they say?, the host can type the guess a team shouted. If it matches an answer, it's revealed for you. If not, you see close matches to pick from, or tap Strike. houndkit never gives a strike by itself.

Players can also send guesses from their phones when it's their team's turn.

Lightning Round

Two players from one team each answer five questions in 20 seconds. Together they need 200 points. The second player steps out (or covers their ears) while the first plays. Each team needs at least two players.
