Upload your Digitail reports
The Reports tool lets you upload the day's Digitail reports once, and every tool that uses them gets them. Right now that's Follow Ups and QA.
Open Reports from the Clinic section of the Go to menu.
Which reports
- Appointment report: needed. It creates new follow-ups and new QA cases.
- Flowboard report (optional): adds record links, and wait times for QA.
- Visits report (optional): adds spayed/neutered and microchip details for Follow Ups, plus patient details and visits with no appointment for QA.
- Payments report (optional): tells QA who checked the client out.
Each report slot has colored pills showing what it brings to each tool.
Upload them
- Export the reports from Digitail as CSV files.
- In Reports, drop the files onto the page, or tap Choose CSV files and pick them. You can pick several at once, and houndkit puts each one in the right slot.
- Under Send to, tick the tools that should get them. Your choice is remembered for next time.
- Check Staff names if it says some names aren't matched (see below).
- Tap the upload button, for example Upload to Follow Ups and QA.
When it's done, a card for each tool shows what happened, such as how many follow-ups were added or how many cases went into the QA queue. Tap Open Follow Ups or Open the QA queue to see them.
Uploading the same day twice is fine
Nothing is doubled. Each tool skips visits it already has.
Forgot a report? Upload the Flowboard, Visits or Payments report on its own later. It fills in the blanks on cases still in the QA queue.
Staff names
Digitail writes names its own way, like "DVM Kristin Miller". Staff names is one list for every tool:
- Match each name to a person so QA seats them on their cases. Unmatched names still come in, but their cases arrive unassigned.
- Set how a name reads in client messages under In messages, for example "Dr. Miller".
New names appear in the list as reports are uploaded.
Upload log
The Upload log at the bottom shows recent uploads: when, who, which tools they went to, the files and row counts, and what each tool did with them.
Note
You only see the tools you can use. Follow Ups needs the Follow Ups tool on. QA needs you to be a QA auditor. You can still upload from inside Follow Ups or QA if you'd rather check rows and columns one by one.
