React to and comment on kudos

Add an emoji, leave a comment, or reply to someone else's comment on any shoutout.

React with an emoji

1. Tap the smiley button under the shoutout message.
2. Pick an emoji. It shows as a small pill with a count.

Tap a pill to add the same emoji yourself, or tap your own again to take it back. On a computer, hover over a pill to see who reacted.

You can react to the shoutout itself or to any comment on it. During some holidays and seasons, the picker shows an extra row of seasonal emoji.

Comment

1. Tap Comment under the shoutout (if it already has comments, the comment box is already open).
2. Type in Write a comment… and press Enter to send.

Comments can be up to 1,000 characters. A card shows the two most recent threads. Tap View all to see the rest.

Reply to a comment

1. Tap Reply under the comment.
2. Type your reply and press Enter.

Replies stay one level deep. If you reply to a reply, yours joins the same thread.

Edit or delete your comment

• To edit, tap the pencil next to your comment, change the text and tap Save.
• To delete, tap the trash can and confirm.

Edited comments show a small edited label. A deleted comment that still has replies shows as Comment deleted so the replies make sense.

Who hears about comments

When you comment, the people the shoutout was for and the sender get a notification. The sender isn't told if they sent it anonymously. If you reply to someone, they're told too.

Share a shoutout

Tap the ... menu on a shoutout and choose Copy link. Anyone in your clinic who opens the link goes straight to that shoutout on the board.
