Set up stock request statuses
Clinic admins name the statuses the team uses to mark stock requests, such as "Ordered", "On backorder" or "Already in stock". Each one sits in one of three fixed buckets.
The buckets
- Active: requested, and nobody has picked it up yet
- Pending: acknowledged and waiting
- Archived: done with
The buckets are fixed. They decide which tab a request shows on, and the dashboard badge counts everything still in Active. The statuses inside each bucket are yours to name.
Add a status
- Go to Clinic Settings → Stock Requests, then the Mark as tab.
- Under the bucket you want, tap Add active option, Add pending option or Add archived option.
- Type the status name, such as "On backorder".
- Check the Bucket is right. You can switch it here.
- Pick an Icon, a Background color and a Text color. The preview shows how it will look.
- Tap Add.
Change the order
Drag statuses up or down within a bucket. The first status under Active is where every new request lands, so put your default there.
Warning
Keep at least one Active status. New requests need somewhere to land.
Edit or remove a status
Hover over a status and tap the pencil to edit it (then Save), or the trash can to remove it and confirm. Each change shows a Saved message with an Undo button.
You can't remove a status that requests are still marked with. Move those requests to another status first, then remove it.
