Change Fetch levels and units
Fetch teaches in order of level, from easiest to hardest. Clinic admins can move cards to a different level, stop Fetch asking about something, or arrange the units entirely by hand.
Levels
Fetch uses the same 0–5 scale as skills, from 0 Starter to 5 Advanced, and teaches level 0 first. Each card starts at the level of the stage it falls in, shown with a dashed badge.
- Go to Clinic Settings → Fetch → Cards and choose By level.
- Use Find a card… and the filters to narrow the list.
- Tick the cards you want to move.
- Next to Set level:, click a level, Automatic to go back to the default, or Don't study. It saves right away, with Undo.
Don't study sets a card to Reference only. It still shows on hover and in search, but Fetch never asks it. It's handy for terms you want defined in SOPs but don't expect anyone to memorize.
Tip
You can also set a level on a single fast fact when you add or edit it.
Units
Want full control over what's in each unit and in what order? Use Clinic Settings → Fetch → Cards → By unit.
- Units are taught top to bottom. Drag one by its grip to move it.
- Tick cards and use Move to to send a batch to another unit, or Level to change their level (level changes save right away).
- Click Add unit to make a new one, and rename units right in the list.
- Switch between Table and Cards views.
- Cards you add to Knowledge later land in Not sorted yet.
Click Save layout when you're done, or Discard to drop unsaved changes.
Note
Once you save your own layout, Fetch follows it and ignores levels. Click Back to houndkit's layout and confirm to drop your units and return to the level-based path.
