Help/Fetch

Streaks, badges and team goals

Updated September 30, 2026

Fetch keeps a few gentle scores to help you build a habit: a daily streak, XP, badges, and a team goal the whole clinic works toward together.

Your streak

Do at least one lesson on a day and your streak grows. The sidebar shows how many days, and whether today's lesson is done.

Streaks are forgiving:

  • A day you don't open houndkit at all doesn't count against you.
  • A day you open houndkit but don't get to a lesson uses a Streak reviver instead of breaking the streak.
  • You start with five revivers and earn one with every lesson, up to fifteen.
  • Only when you have none left does the streak quietly reset.

XP and today's goal

Every lesson earns XP. Today's goal fills up toward 30 XP a day, and All-time shows your total.

Badges

Badges mark milestones like First fetch, Clean sweep (a lesson with no misses), Unit done, 3-day streak, Week on, 25 known and Keeps it fresh (five reviews). Hover or tap a badge to see what it's for and how close you are. Click See all to see every badge.

Tell Tail has its own set of badges on its home page.

Team goal this week

If your clinic has team goals on, a card shows the team's progress toward a weekly target. Fetch lessons and Tell Tail rounds both count. It's one shared number and never shows who did what.

The weekly XP board

If your admins switch on the Weekly XP board, you'll be asked Join the leaderboard? Click I'm in to share your weekly XP and streak with the clinic. It's entirely up to you, and you can click Leave the board any time.

Tip

There's no "you lost your streak" message. If it resets, just start again with one lesson.
