Play lessons and reviews

A Fetch lesson is a handful of quick questions. Here's how to play one, review what you've missed, and flag a question that doesn't look right.

Play a lesson

1. Open Fetch from the nav.
2. Click Start on the Up next card, or tap any open lesson on the path.
3. Answer each question, then click Continue.
4. At the end, Lesson complete! shows the XP you earned and your accuracy.

New cards are taught first, then asked a few different ways. You might see:

• What does this mean? or Which root word means…: pick the answer.
• Type the answer: typing it right earns full credit. A small spelling slip earns half credit and shows the correct spelling.
• Build the word that means…: put word parts together.
• Match the pairs: tap a word part, then its meaning.
• Tap it on the chart: find the tooth on the dental chart.
• Fast facts ask the question and you pick or type the answer.

Miss one and it comes back later in the lesson: "Let's try this one again." After a miss, click Look it up to open the full entry in Knowledge in a new tab.

To leave partway, click the X. Progress in that lesson isn't saved.

Review

When cards are due, a card at the top says how many are ready to review.

• Review mixes a few recent misses with cards due to keep them fresh. It takes a minute or two.
• Just my misses replays only what you got wrong last time.

Units on your plan

If a manager put a Fetch unit on your training plan, it shows under Asked of you, and on your plan in Training. Click Play to jump straight in. A unit on an onboarding checklist ticks that step off once you finish every lesson in it.

Flashcards

Click Flashcards in the sidebar for a self-paced deck. Choose What to study, which way round (The part → I say the meaning, The meaning → I say the part, or Mixed) and how many. Tap a card or press space to check it, then say whether you knew it.

Something wrong with a question?

Click the flag icon on the question, pick a reason, and click Send report. Your trainers see it. Your answer still counts the way you gave it.
