Set up Fetch for your clinic

Clinic admins choose what Fetch teaches, whether the path unlocks one lesson at a time, and whether the team sees a leaderboard or a shared weekly goal. All of it is in Clinic Settings → Fetch → Setup. Every switch saves as soon as you change it, and the Saved message has an Undo button if you change your mind.

Fill Fetch with content

Fetch teaches from your Knowledge lists in Training. The quickest start is houndkit's starter sets: open each list in Training → Knowledge and use its starter button. See Use the Knowledge library.

Choose what's included

Under What's in Fetch, switch each list on or off:

• Glossary terms
• Pharmacy list
• Conditions
• Charts (the dental charts, asked by tapping the right tooth)
• Fast facts

Root words are always part of the path.

Other options

Under How Fetch plays and Your team:

• Weekly XP board: shows everyone's XP for the week. Off by default. Even when it's on, each person chooses whether to join.
• Let people pick any lesson: off, the path unlocks one lesson at a time, easiest first. On, every lesson is open and the path still suggests what's next.
• Team goals and milestones: a weekly goal the whole team works toward, counting Fetch lessons plus Tell Tail rounds, with team badges. Under Weekly goal, choose Automatic (10 for each person learning) or Set my own and type a number.

Hide Fetch for a while

Switch off Show Fetch to your team to hide its nav link, dashboard card, Training tab and plan steps from everyone but admins. Nothing is deleted. Switch it back on and everything is as it was.

Put units on a training plan

To ask a role to finish a unit, add a Fetch step to that role's plan in Clinic Settings → Training & SOPs → Programs → Plans by role. You can also do it right here: under Units on a role's plan, pick the Role and tick the units, with an optional by week. Or make an onboarding step Finish a Fetch unit.
