Review and copy a note

Check a drafted note, fix anything that's off, and copy it into your PIMS.

Open a note

In My notes, click the note. Give it a name in the title box at the top (it starts as Untitled note) so it's easy to find later, such as the patient's name.

Read and edit

The note is split into sections, like Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan, depending on your template.

• Click a section's text to edit it. Click Save when you're done, or Cancel.
• Sections you've changed are marked edited.
• Click the regenerate icon on a section to rewrite just that section. If you'd edited it, houndkit asks before replacing your changes.

Try another template

At the bottom of the note, pick a different template and click Regenerate all to rewrite the whole note. This replaces any edits you made, so houndkit asks first.

Copy it

• Click Copy on a section to copy just that part.
• Click Copy all at the top to copy the whole note.

Paste it into your PIMS.

Check the transcript

Click Show raw transcript to read exactly what was heard. It's useful when something in the note doesn't look right. There's a Copy button for the transcript too.

Delete a note

In My notes, click the delete button on a note. The note and its transcript are removed for good.
