What Magic Notes is for

Magic Notes turns a recording of an appointment into a written medical note. Record the visit on your phone or computer, and houndkit transcribes it and drafts the note in your clinic's format, ready for you to check and copy into your PIMS.
How it works
- Record the appointment, or upload an audio file.
- houndkit transcribes the audio into text.
- AI writes the note, section by section, following a template your clinic sets up (for example, a SOAP note).
- You review and edit the note, then copy it into your records.
Warning
Magic Notes drafts the note, but you're responsible for what goes in the record. Read every section before you copy it, and check drug names, doses and findings against what happened.
Your notes are yours
Magic Notes is personal. My notes only shows the notes you recorded. Teammates can't see them, and you can't see theirs.
You can keep up to 25 notes. When you record a new one past that, your oldest note is deleted automatically. Copy anything you need into your PIMS before then.
The two tabs
- Notes: record, upload, and read your notes.
- Customize: make the notes sound like you, with your own rules, section tweaks and style examples. These changes only affect your notes.
