Edit, archive and clean up chores

Clinic admins can change one chore, update many at once, or take chores off the board. Everything here is in Clinic Settings > Chores > Chore list.

Find the chores you want

The chore list is a table. Select any column heading (Chore, Room, Category, Schedule, Who, Points) to sort by it. Use the search box, or open Filters to narrow by Room, How often, Who does it, Category or Team. For example, you can list every chore with Whole team (nobody named) that repeats daily.

Edit one chore

Select a row (or its pencil icon). The chore opens in a drawer beside the list. Change what you need and select Save changes. The drawer also has Duplicate and Archive.

Change many at once

1. Select Select, then tick the chores, or use Select all.
2. Select Edit.
3. Fill in only what should change: Category, Room, Assigned to, Team, Points, or Add tags. Blank fields are left unchanged, and added tags join each chore's existing ones.
4. Select Apply to (the button shows how many chores you picked).
5. Select Done to leave Select mode.

Schedules, dates and times aren't in bulk edit. Change those per chore, or in Spreadsheet.

Archive a chore

Archiving takes a chore off the board but keeps its history.

1. Select the archive icon on a row, or Archive in the drawer.
2. Confirm with Archive it.

The chore stops coming due and today's open copy is removed. Everything already completed stays in the log. To bring it back, tick Show archived below the table and select Restore.

In Select mode, Archive does the same for every chore you picked.

Delete for good

In Select mode, Delete permanently removes the chores you picked. Confirm with Delete forever (the button shows how many), or choose Keep them to back out.
