What Chores is for

Chores is your clinic's shared cleaning and upkeep checklist. It shows everyone what needs doing today, who has done it, and what slipped, so nobody has to keep the list in their head.

How it works

Clinic admins build a chore list once: what the chore is, how often it comes due, which room it belongs to, and who is expected to do it. houndkit then puts each chore on the board on the right days, on its own.

• A chore can repeat Once daily, Twice daily, Every other day, 2× a week, Weekly, Every 2 weeks, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly, or happen just One time.
• A chore that isn't done stays on the board and rolls forward until its window ends, skipping days the clinic is closed.
• At clinic midnight, anything whose window has ended and that nobody ticked off is marked Not completed.

What your team does

Open Chores and you land on the To do tab. From there you can:

• Tick off a chore when it's done.
• Tap a chore to say I've got this, so nobody doubles up.
• Mark a chore Not needed with a quick reason.
• Delay a chore to tomorrow when its window allows.
• Log a chore for a teammate who did it with Done by….

The Me tab shows your own points, chores done, day streak and last seven days.

What admins get

Clinic admins also see three more tabs on the board:

• Raffle: ticket standings and prize draws, if your clinic uses points.
• Insights: completion rates, what's being missed, and how each room is doing.
• Log: every finished, skipped and missed chore, with a way to correct entries.

The chore list itself, room templates, reminders and points settings live in Clinic Settings under Chores. The Manage chores button on the board takes admins straight there.
