Run a points raffle

Points turn finished chores into raffle tickets. Clinic admins set what each chore is worth, set up prizes, and draw winners from the Raffle tab on the Chores board.

How points work

• Each chore can carry Raffle points, set in the chore form under Points & tags (optional). Whoever completes it gets them.
• One point is one raffle ticket.
• Marking a chore Not needed earns nothing.
• If your clinic gives points for logging a teammate's chore, the person who logs it earns that share too. See Log a chore for someone else.
• Where equipment maintenance points are switched on, those tickets land in the same pot.

What staff see

Everyone has a Me tab showing their points, chores done and Day streak for This quarter, Last quarter or All time, plus a bar chart of their last seven days. It also shows how many raffle tickets they have in the current draw.

Only clinic admins see the full standings.

Set up a raffle

1. On the Chores board, open the Raffle tab.
2. Select Set up a raffle.
3. Give it a Name and add each prize, with an icon. Select + Add prize for more.
4. Tick Let one person win more than one prize if you want that. Otherwise, each person can win once.
5. Select Set up raffle.

The raffle waits as a draft until you draw it. Select Discard to drop it.

Draw the winners

1. Decide whether to keep Reset everyone's points when this raffle is drawn ticked. It's on by default and starts the next period fresh.
2. Select Draw winners.

Each prize is drawn in turn, weighted by tickets. Someone with 10 tickets is ten times as likely to win as someone with 1. Results appear under Past draws, with each prize, its winner and their ticket count.

Reset points without a draw

Select Reset points at the top of the standings, then confirm. Everyone starts again at zero tickets.
