Post to the Clinic Feed

Share an update with the whole clinic or just certain groups, with pictures, links, a poll, or a time to go up and come down.

Write a post

1. Open Clinic Feed and tap Share an update… (on the full page, the post box is already open).
2. Pick the kind of post from the row of type chips. The line under the chips tells you who will be notified.
3. Add a Title if you like, then write your post. Type @ and a name to mention someone.
4. Tap Post.

Titles can be up to 120 characters and posts up to 5,000.

Add pictures

Tap Picture and choose up to 6 images (PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, up to 8 MB each). Tap the x on a picture to remove it before posting.

Link to something in houndkit

Tap Link and search for a hospitalized patient, SOP, document, form, help article, open task or lab. Pick one to drop a named link into your post. Readers can tap it to open that item.

Post to certain groups

Under Post to, leave Everyone selected, or tap one or more groups. Only those groups will see the post and be notified.

Schedule it or set an end time

Tap More for extra options:

• Schedule for later: pick a date and time. The button changes to Schedule. You can schedule up to 60 days ahead. Tap Post now instead to undo.
• Take it down after: pick a date and time, or tap End of today, 24 hours or 1 week. After that time the post is hidden from the team. Tap Keep it up to clear it.
• Allow comments: tick or untick to turn comments on or off for this post.

Change your post later

Open the ... menu on your post:

• Edit to change the title or text. Edited posts show edited.
• Turn comments off or Turn comments on.
• Expire now to take it down right away, or Clear end date / Bring it back if it has one.
• Copy link to share it.
• Delete to remove it for the team.
