Upload documents and make packages

Updated September 30, 2026

Clinic admins build the document library your team searches. Upload files, sort them into categories, and group the ones that go together into packages.

Upload a document

  1. Open Docs, go to the Documents tab and click Upload.
  2. Give it a Title, such as "Anesthesia Consent Form."
  3. Pick or type a Category, like "Consent Forms." Documents are grouped by category.
  4. Add a Description and Tags if they'll help people find it.
  5. Choose the File and click Upload.

PDFs and images preview right in Docs. Other file types can still be opened or downloaded.

Edit, replace or delete

Open a document's details. Admins see Edit, where you can change the title, category, description and tags, or use Replace file to swap in a new version. Delete removes the file for everyone.

Make a package

Packages bundle documents so staff can print a whole set at once, like everything a surgery client signs.

  1. Go to Clinic Settings → Docs → Packages.
  2. Click New package.
  3. Enter a Name and, if you like, a Description.
  4. Under Documents in this package, click each document to add it. Use the arrows to put them in order.
  5. Click Save package.

Packages appear at the top of the Documents tab. Deleting a package leaves the documents themselves in Docs.

Tip

Print all combines PDFs and images into one print. Put Word files and other types in a package too, but staff will need to print those separately.
