Turn on team spaces

Clinic admins decide whether team spaces are on, whether they have a chat board, and who can change how each space looks.

Open the settings

Go to Clinic Settings, choose Groups, then the Spaces & names tab.

The switches

These save as soon as you flip them, with an Undo button on the Saved message.

• Team spaces: the master switch. When it's off, every space is hidden, but groups keep working in Tasks, Chores and Labs.
• Chat board: threads, replies, reactions and @tags in each space. Turn it off to hide the Chat tab everywhere.
• Members can pin posts: when off, only people who can customize the space can pin chat threads.

Who can customize spaces

This sets who can change pinned tool cards, saved links, stickers and colors in a space:

• Everyone in the group
• Clinic admins only

Clinic admins can always edit. Each group can override this in its own Edit form under Who can customize the space, where Clinic default follows this setting.

Visit any space

Under All team spaces, you'll see every group with a space, with its member count. Tap one to open it. Clinic admins can open every space, including ones they aren't a member of.

To give a group a space, or take one away, open the group's Edit form on the Groups tab, use the Team space switch, then tap Save group.
