What Groups is for

Groups gives your clinic one shared list of teams, like Techs, Front Desk or DVMs, that every tool can use. Each group can also have its own team space: a home base with the group's tasks, today's chores, a chat board and the links the team needs.

One list of groups for every tool

Clinic admins set up groups once, in Clinic Settings. After that:

• Tasks can be assigned to a group.
• Chores can be split between groups.
• Kudos can be sent to a whole group.
• Labs gets its list of doctors from any group marked as a DVM group.

People can be in more than one group.

Team spaces

A group with a team space gets its own page. Members can see:

• A welcome note for the team.
• The group's open work on the taskboard.
• Today's chores for the group, which you can check off right there.
• A chat board for threads, replies, reactions and @mentions.
• Pinned shortcuts to the tools the team uses every shift, and saved links.

Some cards only appear if your clinic uses that tool or an admin has linked the group to it, such as equipment reminders or records to send.

How to get to your team spaces

• Team members: open My Dashboard and look for Your Groups. Tap a group to open its space.
• Clinic admins: open Groups from the main menu. You'll see Your team spaces and, under All team spaces, every other space in the clinic.

Private groups

A group can be set up as a space only, without being used in tools. These private spaces are only visible to their members and clinic admins, and show a small lock icon.
