To-dos, appeals and releasing results
After an audit is finalized, auditors follow up on three things: to-dos, appeals, and (if your clinic holds results) releasing them to the team. All three are for auditors only.
Releasing held results
If your clinic uses Held for release, finalized audits wait before the team sees them. The QA dashboard shows a green banner with how many are waiting, and the scheduled release time if one is set.
- Click Release now.
- Confirm. Results and to-dos become visible, and each person gets one notification.
In the queue, a finalized case that hasn't been released shows an hourglass. Scheduled releases go out on their own once the time has passed. Set the schedule in QA general options.
The to-do board
Open To-Dos from the QA dashboard to see every QA to-do in one place.
- Switch between Open, Done and All.
- Overdue to-dos come first, in red: Overdue — open more than N days since release. Your clinic sets N under To-do follow-up.
- Each to-do shows its case (click to open it) and who it's for.
- Click the circle to Mark done, or click it again to Reopen.
Team members mark their own to-dos done from My QA. The dashboard's Needs action row counts overdue to-dos, and each person's chip under Team dashboards shows their open count (amber) or overdue count (red).
Appeals
Team members can question a result they disagree with, using Question a result in My QA. Your clinic can switch this off, or close questions a set number of days after results are shared, under Questions about results in Clinic Settings → QA → Workflow. Open Appeals from the QA dashboard to see Pending, Resolved or All.
For each pending appeal:
- Read what they wrote, and click the case number to open it if you need to.
- Click Accept the change or Reject.
- Add a note in Context / decision note… and click Confirm accept or Confirm reject.
The person gets a notification with your decision and note.
If the appeal names a specific error, accepting removes that error and rescores the case. Otherwise, open the case and make the change yourself: an appealed case stays open for editing. An edited case then shows Edited post-finalization, and the person's results update to match.
A case with an appeal shows an Appealed badge, and the appeal itself appears at the top of the case with a Manage → link back to the board.
Reopening a case yourself
To fix a finalized case nobody has appealed, open it and click Manual appeal. Give your reason and click Reopen. It goes through the appeals board like any other appeal.
