Work the review queue
The Review Queue is every case waiting to be audited. Auditors use it to find, claim and sort cases, and to act on many at once.
Open the queue
From the QA dashboard, click Queue. The quickest way to start work is Start next, which claims the oldest ready case nobody has taken and opens it.
Find cases
- Stage menu: Open (to audit plus submitted), Ready to audit and In the waiting period (if your clinic has a waiting period), To audit, Submitted, Waiting on my check (when you have second checks waiting), Finalized, Not needed, Not reviewed, Archived or Everything.
- Who menu: Anyone, Mine, Someone has it or Nobody yet.
- Mine shows only the cases you've claimed. Tap it again to go back.
- To check appears when submitted cases are waiting on your second check.
- Search by client, pet or ID.
- Filters: Audit type, Staff on the case, Report flag, Suggestions, Visit dates, and Oldest first / Newest first. Clear all resets everything.
- Saved views (the bookmark button) keeps a set of filters: choose Save these filters and give it a name.
Your filters stay in the page address, so the back arrow in a case returns you to the same view. Start next follows your audit type, staff and date filters.
If your clinic set a daily goal, the count at the top shows how many you've done today against it.
Read a row
- claim: click I've got it to become the case's main auditor. Click your own avatar to let it go.
- status: New means nobody has started it yet. A clock means it's still in the waiting period; eyes mean it's ready. An eye with a name on a submitted case shows who is doing the second check. An hourglass means finalized but not yet released to the team.
- worked on by: everyone who has touched the case. A solid ring means they worked on it, a faint dashed one means they only left a note from the queue, amber means they submitted it and green means they finalized it. Click your own avatar to step off a case you haven't submitted.
- The speech-bubble button leaves a Quick note for whoever audits the case, without opening it. Quick notes go to the auditor-only notes.
On a wide screen, clicking a row opens a preview on the side. Click the pet's name to open the full case.
Act on many cases
Tick cases (or the header box for everything shown) to open the selection bar:
- I've got these claims every selected case nobody has.
- Assign staff seats one person in one role across every selected case, which is handy for the overnight CSR.
- Under More actions: Not needed, Not reviewed, Archive and Delete forever. If every selected case is already not needed (or not reviewed), the option reads Restore instead.
Warning
Delete forever can't be undone. Answers, notes, to-dos and history all go, and deleting finalized cases removes them from every dashboard and count.
Random pick
Imported too much? From the More (…) menu choose Random pick. Set a percentage of each person's cases, and which role to split by (usually the DVM). Select ticks that random share. Keep keeps that share and ticks the rest, ready to mark Not needed. Optionally turn on Spread across each day and Leave started cases alone. Click Pick, then act on the selection. Filter by date or type first to target one upload.
The same menu has New review for a hand-made case, Compact rows for a tighter list, and Import for a Digitail report (Upload reports when your clinic uses the Reports tool).
