Copy a task into your records

Paste a finished task into your PIMS without retyping it. Each task has two copy buttons at the top right.

Copy all task info

Click the copy button (two overlapping squares). houndkit copies a full summary to your clipboard, then shows a check mark. By default it includes:

• A header with the patient and client.
• Contact info, task type, who logged it, the target and the status.
• The task note.
• The activity log.
• A footer saying who copied it and when.

Copy the Rx note

Click the pill button for a shorter note meant for the medical record, such as a refill request. It includes who logged the task, when, the task note and the activity log.

What goes in the activity log

Only human-written updates are copied: chat messages, plus reassignments that include a written reason. Status changes and other automatic entries stay on screen only.

Paste into your PIMS as usual.
