Send a self assessment quiz

A self assessment quiz asks someone to rate themselves 1–5 stars on every skill of a role. It's handy for experienced hires and for deciding where their training should start. Only training management sends them and reads the answers.

Send a quiz

1. Go to Training → Trainees → Self-assessments and click Send self assessment quiz. Admins can also do this from Clinic Settings → Training & SOPs → New hires → Self assessment quiz.
2. Add people one at a time with Add a person…, or click a role under Add a whole role:.
3. For each person, pick the role to Rate against….
4. Set a Due (optional) date if you like.
5. Click Send to [number] people.

They get a notification. People who already have a quiz waiting aren't listed.

Take the quiz

If you've been sent one, a card on My training says "Rate yourself on your [role] skills". Click Start.

1. Rate each skill from 1 to 5 stars: Brand new to this, Learning, Can do it with help, Confident or Could teach it.
2. Add a comment on any skill if it helps.
3. Answer Anything else about your experience? (optional).
4. Click Send to management. You need to rate every skill first.

Be honest. It helps plan your training, and it isn't a test.

Read the results

On Trainees → Self-assessments, use the Show filter to see Results or Waiting. Open a result to see each rating and comment, grouped by category, plus the person's average. Skills they're already signed off on are marked.

You can cancel a quiz that's still waiting, or remove a finished one, from the bottom of its panel.
