Work through your training plan

Updated September 30, 2026

Once a manager starts your training, your plan shows on the My training tab. This article explains what's on it and how to move through it at your own pace.

Up next

The card at the top of your plan tells you the one thing to do next, in the order your plan was laid out. Click its button to jump straight to it. When you're all caught up, it says so and points you to a Fetch review or a Tell Tail round.

What's on your plan

Your plan is split into modules. You move on when the work in a module is done, however long that takes. Each row is one of these:

  • Sign-off skills: practice, then ask your mentor or a manager to sign you off.
  • Checklist skills: tick the box yourself once you're comfortable.
  • Read SOP or Know this: open the SOP or article, then click I've read this at the bottom.
  • Fetch units: click Play to go straight to that unit in Fetch. The row shows how many lessons you've done.
  • Tell Tail sessions: click Practice. Each qualifying round fills in a dot, and the step ticks itself off.
  • Tests: open the test to see what it covers, then take it when you have time. See Take and grade competency tests.
  • Notes from your managers, like what to expect this module.

Rows marked coming up · fine to do early are in a later module. Go ahead if you're ready.

Uploading a file

Some skills ask for a file, like a certificate or photo. Add it on the skill's row. If the upload is required, the skill can't be checked off or signed off until you do.

Refreshers

A manager or mentor can put a skill you already finished back on your list. It shows as Needs refresher, with a note about what to brush up on. Once you're signed off again it comes off the list.

Continuing education

Electives sit under your plan as Continuing education. They're optional and never count toward finishing.

Note

You'll only see Behind if your managers gave a module a target week and it has passed. Otherwise, go at whatever pace suits you.

Your role's welcome note, your mentors and your next check-in date show at the top of your plan. Finished programs and other skills you're signed off on are listed underneath.
