Personal to-dos and notes

My Dashboard's To-Do and Notes tabs are for the things only you need to track: callbacks, reminders, things to order, half-formed thoughts. Only you can see them.

To-dos

The To-Do tab is a set of lists side by side. Everything starts in Unsorted.

1. Type in + Add a to-do at the bottom of a list and press Enter.
2. Drag a card to move it between lists.
3. Tap the checkbox to mark it done.

On each card you can:

• Tap the text to edit it.
• Set a Due date. The chip reads Today, Tomorrow or Yesterday when it's close.
• Remove it with the X.

Make your own lists

1. Tap Add list at the end of the row.
2. Name it, for example "Callbacks" or "This week", and press Enter.

Tap a list's name to rename it. The palette button next to it lets you pick a color or Delete list. Cards from a deleted list move to Unsorted.

At the top of the tab, untick Show completed to hide finished cards, or tap Clear completed to remove them.

Add a to-do from anywhere

Tap the pen icon in the header, choose New to-do, type it and press Enter. It lands in Unsorted, ready to drag into a list later.

Notes

The Notes tab holds sticky notes that save as you type.

1. Tap New note.
2. Add a Title if you like, then write in the body.

Each note has buttons along the top:

• Pin to top keeps it first.
• Add a link attaches a web address you can open from the note.
• The color button changes its color.
• The check mark (Done — archive this note) files it under Archived. Open Archived and tap the restore button to bring it back.
• The trash can deletes it.

Use Search notes… to find one by its words.

Jot a note from anywhere

Tap the pen icon in the header and choose New note. It starts saving as soon as you type and lands in your Notes tab.
