The roadmap and suggesting ideas

The houndkit roadmap shows what's being built, what's planned and what just shipped. It's also where you can send your own ideas.

Open it from your avatar menu with Roadmap & ideas. It's a public page, so you can share the link with anyone.

Reading the roadmap

The Roadmap tab has three columns:

• Considering: ideas being looked into
• Planned: on the list and coming
• In progress: being built right now

Each card says which tool it's about, or Site-wide. Tap a tool's chip above the columns to see only its cards, or All tools to see everything. Tap Read more on a card for the full description.

The Shipped tab is the changelog: what's been released, newest first, grouped by month.

Upvote and comment

When you're signed in to houndkit, you can react to cards:

• Tap Upvote on the cards you want most. Tap again to remove your vote. Vote counts are public, but who voted isn't.
• Tap the note button (Leave a note for the houndkit team) to share a thought. Only the houndkit team sees your note.

Suggest an idea

You don't need to be signed in for this.

1. Tap Suggest an idea.
2. Under Your idea, sum it up in a line, for example "Print the lab log by date range."
3. Pick Which tool is it about?, or Not a specific tool / something new.
4. Add Details if you like: what problem it would solve and how you handle it today.
5. Add your Name and Email if you'd like a reply. Both are optional.
6. Tap Send suggestion.

Every idea gets read, and good ones end up on the roadmap.
